| The remarkable musicians, artists and truly American characters we have
met in our travels around the country inspired the idea for In Cahoots House Concerts, an ongoing series that funnels an eclectic stream of musicians off the road and through our home town of Manitou
Springs. We are constantly amazed at the level of talent we cross paths with and have dedicated ourselves to finding a way to present them to our audiences in Colorado. These are great artists still flying under the national radar that have moved us, and consequently inspired us, to assist in their promotion in Colorado. We believe they are all exceptional and unique artists worth your attention and the suggested donation.
We’d like to thank Bob and Nikki Weizenecker, co-producers of this series, for opening their home in Manitou Springs and hosting these concerts. Their love of good music and gathering with friends has evolved into the perfect venue for us to share these unique musicians with both the Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs communities. Booking Criteria: Chris and I do the booking for In Cahoots House Concerts. We book four shows a year; one winter show and three summer shows. We also rotate artists back through every couple of years, which only leaves room for one or two new artists each year. Because we book so few shows one of our criteria for booking is to see the artist live. Most of our bookings happen organically as a result of artists we personally cross paths with.Note: We do not book through solicitation. For more information about the series |
